既入深山寻古迹；
又将活水煮新茶。
寻访龙窖山瑶胞茶园遗址

崇山千仞，遗址难寻，谁知茶种云深处；
石屋数间，瑶胞何在，惟见泉流石缝间。
[赏析] 秦没楚后，生活在鄂西和江汉之浒的瑶族先民因氏族争战与天灾人祸，举族南迁至龙窖山，并在山上广播茶籽，开创了临湘种茶的先河。据隆庆《岳州府志》载：“自明洪武二十四年起，龙窖山茶味厚于巴陵，岁贡十六斤” 。龙窖山是中国茶文化旅游的胜地。
龙窖山千家峒遗址2002年被确定为省级文物保护单位，在古瑶址周围的山坡上，我们能找到瑶胞当年用石头垒砌的梯地和茶树，能见到瑶族先民留下的石屋、石门、石桥、石洞、石缸等。
